Pakistan’s Chances for holding Champions Trophy 50-50

Pakistan’s chances for holding Champions Trophy in September are down to 50-50. Because of growing security concerns ICC is thinking to shifting the venue somewhere else. In the present scenario, South Africa or Sri Lanka have the best chances to be the next host of Champions Trophy 2008.  Yet the final decision has to be taken, over the next 72 hours after its members discuss the issue . The ICC board, while taking a final decision, will also consider a report on Sunday’s security briefing.

There were concerns raised by four countries namingly Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa not openly, over the security issues in Pakistan.
